1Who we are and what this covers
Tracelet is built and operated by Insighture (“we”, “us”). This policy covers personal information we collect through tracelet.ai, including the design partner enquiry form, and through emails you send us.
It does not cover data handled by the Tracelet platform once it is deployed. Tracelet runs as a single tenant inside your own cloud or data centre, and that data is governed by the agreement between your organisation and us. Our Security and privacy page describes what the platform captures and how it is controlled.
2What we collect
When you apply to be a design partner
The enquiry form asks for three details. We do not ask for your name, phone number or job title.
| Information | How we get it | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| Work email | You enter it (required) | To reply to you and arrange a first conversation |
| Company | You enter it (required) | To understand who is enquiring and assess the fit |
| The AI workflow you want to work on | You enter it (required) | To prepare for the conversation and judge whether the programme suits your team |
| Page you submitted from | Your browser sends it with the form | To know which page led to the enquiry |
Please keep the workflow description at a general level. Do not include credentials, source code or other confidential details. If we move forward together, we will agree how to share those under a written agreement.
When you browse the site
- Usage data from Google Analytics, such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, your device and browser type and your approximate location based on IP address. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart.
- Technical data such as your IP address, browser details and the time of each request, recorded in server logs when your browser loads the site and its fonts.
When you contact us
If you email us, we keep your message, your email address and anything else you choose to include, so we can reply.
3How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, assess whether the design partner programme suits your team, and arrange the next conversation.
- To follow up about the programme you asked about. We will not add you to a marketing newsletter without your agreement.
- To understand how the website is used so we can make it clearer.
- To keep the site secure, diagnose problems and prevent abuse.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4Legal basis
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR or the UK GDPR apply, we rely on:
- Steps before a contract when we respond to your design partner enquiry at your request.
- Legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the website, and in following up on business enquiries. We weigh these against your rights, and you can object at any time.
- Consent where the law requires it, for example for certain cookies in some jurisdictions. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
- Legal obligation where we must keep or disclose information by law.
7International transfers
Our team and service providers operate in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. When we transfer personal information from the UK, the European Economic Area or another region with transfer rules, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
8How long we keep it
- Design partner enquiries are kept while we discuss a possible partnership. If we do not go ahead, we delete them within 24 months of our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- If you become a design partner, contact details move under your written agreement and are kept for as long as that agreement requires.
- Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, and then deleted automatically.
- Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted.
9Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Object to or restrict how we use it, including for follow-up messages.
- Receive your information in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it.
To use any of these rights, email support@tracelet.ai. We will reply within one month. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, although we would welcome the chance to resolve your concern first.
10How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS, and enquiry submissions travel over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, and we will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires it.
11Children
Tracelet is a business product for engineering and security teams. The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site and the design partner programme change. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and if a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
